The scrapers came last night

when i was goin to college in phoenix i was on my way down and got nailed for 72 in a 65 in the oklahoma pan handle i thouhgt i was runnin under 70 with the cruise set so he let me goand told me to fix my speedo then on my way home for a week of r&r within a hundred yards of where i got nailed the first time about five cars who were runnin about 80 passed me all of them were black (the cars) mine also being black and "a sports car" i had the cruise set at 65 dead on because i didnt want a repeat of my previous trip a hipo passed the other direction spun around and nailed me claimed i was runnin 75 i promtly told him he was full of s**t and told him of my last encounter with an oky hipo well i got to sit in his car while he wrote me a 400 dollar ticket then escorted me back to my automobile i got in and told him he was a dumbass and i wasnt going to pay the ticket because i wasnt speedingthen took off hammering all gears set the cruise at a buck 20 and got the hell out of dodge keep in mind i did all of this without loosing my cool or raising my voice never got anythig in the mail and my driving record is still clean

I despise cops, with good reason, and I see far too many posts both here and on Fordification of "oh we should only be so lucky as to be around a police officer, they are so wonderful and how sad to see one give their life for their community!"

I bite my tongue/keyboard usually, but occasionally I can't help but say good riddance

damn dude! I cant believe you didnt land in the lockup for a couple of days!!!

i'm surprised he didnt hammer you for a substantiated speeding ticket! wow!

no last i had looked back at him he was in the process of turnin around to go back to the fairgrounds but i know he had to have been pissed about the way i took off

There has been comments on here before and I have bit my tongue.
You know what, I just got out of the hospital and I read this. I have enjoyed this site up until now. I still have to get surgery from where some guy that did not like the police flagged me down to handle his buddy that beat his butt and was on PCP, well he kicked my butt too.

I am 3rd generation, and all my uncles and everybody as well. All of yall that do not need police now, probably will later and hope your experience is good. Usually it is to get their runaway strung out child back or something similar or to remove some guy that was shooting at them over something stupid.

Some seem to be hung up on a traffic ticket, code enforcement, or a red light cam, we don't know who the red light camera guy is either. Tickets are a small majority of what most officers do.

Over the years I have lost many friends and had a family member shot in the head by a crook, but the officer's that were shot here in this link is some of the few friends I have had.

i saw this thread start to get a little overboard and off the original and now once again someone leaves.

police have a job to do , like every other occupation some may take matters into their own hands and do what they want but it is in the minority of the percentage.
i have not been happy every time i got pulled over in traffic either but then again there were as many times i was not and perhaps should have been.

cops deal with a lot of undesirable and just plain dumbass people, most of whom i would likely shoot and forget about , that is why i could not have the job.you have to be able to take way more than you are allowed to dish out and i respect the ones that are able to do this and not have it affect their attitude towards everyone else.

take care Z, i hope you rethink the choice to leave as i dont think everyone here has a complete lack of repect for police as a career choice.
