Which master cylinder

Post by ProStreet66 »

Can any of you guys tell me the best master cylinder to use? I have a 64 with drum brakes all the way around.I have 33x21.5x15 tires on back and normal size up front. I would like a dual reservoir master cylinder. Thanks for any help.

I used a MC for a 69 Mustang with drum-drum reservoirs. Other than the obvious replumbing needing done, the only other thing I did was use the piston shaft from my old single pot MC on the new one...No cutting needed.

Don't know about the 69 Mustang but I used a 68 Mustang as it comes in Drum/Drum and Disc drum. 1970 F 100 will give you the same choices but seems to work better on 65 - 66 trucks. A little more info here.
