I am Back!!!

Post by chop »

I am back lurking around some. I had to deal with my parents being sick, both at the same time. I lost my mother to ovarian cancer, and nearly lost my father to a rare lung ailment caused by an anti-rejection medication for a kidney transplant. I just wanted to say hello again.

Mister Chop, Sir.
It is truly a pleasure to have you back among us. I list you among my mentors in this club, and you have been sorely missed. A very hearty welcome back, and a very sorrowful repose to your losses..
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..

Thanks for your responses, I still have to finish the 36 coupe that I was working on when the health problems began. One of my mothers wishes was to make a trip to Key West in the coupe. I just have to take a couple of weekends to finish what I have to do to get it ready for the painter.
I will stop by on a more regular basis.

I will try to make it to the Turkey Rod Run this year, I have missed the last two. I doubt that I will be driving the 36 this time...maybe next year. I need to get MaeBell out of the mothballs, as she hasn't been started in 22 months now. I need to spend some time on her.
Thanks for the welcome back guys!

Do you still have my Cell Tel # ? My E- Mail's still FORDBOYpete @ yahoo.com,
You had it when you brought me that 3.25:1 X9" FoMoCo Chunk from Banjopicker back in in '06.
I still owe you for that, you know, like lunch, a trip to Hooters, an adult beverage or ? :hm: shrug.gif
When you get it all together & going again & Maebelle is up to it, why dincha give me a hit.
We can hook up while you're here. :steering: More important We never BBq'd that wild hog,
or cooked up river fish @ your place in N. Florida. I Bet that'd be good for our souls, Huh? :thumright:
You know Banjo's back in Dixie doncha? got him a spread in Ridgeland, N.C. area.
I guess "DC" got to him as it does any right thinking person. He's a bettrer man than I.
