Can't tell for sure but the Stude looks like a 60. In case you didn't know I got my nickname from the guys in the SDC years and years ago for my 59 Silver Hawk with Chevy running gear. Hawkrod

Pretty trick and the stude will have tubular A arms.

Directionals will be in the bottom of the headlights, Just like Kids truck.

But in arizone front turns are optional... LOL In fact all turn signals are optional as no one around here uses them!

Nope a Custom MII built to accept the a arms or a arm brace backwards.

the frame width is similar to the MII cars and can be used, Steve consideres the Dakota to heavy for this application.

It will have some IC heavy tubular arms and a few other tricks.

IC builds some pretty radical MII units as long as they fit within the stock geometery.

I finally got thiss photo bucket thing figgured out so i will post up a pic of a dakota crossmember

Its a Cord. Coffin nose Cord, the last gasp of Auburn/Duesenberg.... 1936/37 or so.
a Cord Hotrod? Those things are worth a mint stock. Some of them were blown.. they had like an aircraft engine and front wheel drive

Hey Garbz, When that frame is fitted to the Stude frame, do you fish plate it on the bottom or sides? Looks like it would need more support. Awesome piece of work. I'd be proud of it!

Courtney made it along with the one on the car. Steve completely cad designed it in cyberspace using as many one piece parts as he could. pretty trick.

Is slips over and around and into the existing stude frame. The lower gussets and the bottom rail all intersect the stock stude stampings. If the car is not gone nest Saturday i can get a shot of the connection.

It blows your mind on the fabrication skill Steve has relative to making components.
