Its a Cord. Coffin nose Cord, the last gasp of Auburn/Duesenberg.... 1936/37 or so.
a Cord Hotrod? Those things are worth a mint stock. Some of them were blown.. they had like an aircraft engine and front wheel drive

Hey Garbz, When that frame is fitted to the Stude frame, do you fish plate it on the bottom or sides? Looks like it would need more support. Awesome piece of work. I'd be proud of it!
Courtney made it along with the one on the car. Steve completely cad designed it in cyberspace using as many one piece parts as he could. pretty trick.
Is slips over and around and into the existing stude frame. The lower gussets and the bottom rail all intersect the stock stude stampings. If the car is not gone nest Saturday i can get a shot of the connection.
It blows your mind on the fabrication skill Steve has relative to making components.
