got a pic of 3inch lowered slick?
Just wandering if anyone has a pic of a slick that has been lowered 3 inches so I can see how they look.

I can help you half way. 3" in the front. Stock in the rear.

It's still high enough that a thin guy like myself can get under there without jacks. It's no where near bottoming out on any normal road obstacles.

the wheels arent mine. there a buddies off his mercury. the white walls are mine though. im going to run them on stock ford 15" x 5.5" steel wheels. the truck and bed both have a bad white paint job from the city that owned it before me (city vehicle) im not sure what color the truck is going to be painted. but the wheels will be a accent color to the body

275 x 60 x 15 on 8" rims - rear
American Racing Rodmasters - closest thing to the old Halibrand Slots without spending about $500 a wheel for the reproductions.
Reverse eye mono leafs on the front, I am going to start with pulling 2-3 leaves out of the rear and see where I am at - been to cold to fool with it though. I will keep some rake in it though, pulling the leaves is mostly to soften the ride to be more like the front at first (the monos ride GREAT!) the rear is WAY to stiff by comparison.
I will probably at some point switch to a 73-79 9" rear axle to move the rears out closer to the wheel arch too.

If you want the Rodmasters - bad news. They have been out of production for about a year, I got the last 2 15x8s in the US in 5 x 5.5 bolt pattern.
American last I knew still made the old Ansen Slots though.

yeah. the springs are under the axle now. the front was lowered by using a lowered axle by nostalgia sid. by the time the arizona/sw chapter get-together i will have the eyes of all of the spring packs reversed. im also going to remove a few of the leafs. i might raise the rear shackle hangers but that might lower the rear down more then the front. im also working on a type of lowering block that is machined and will fit onto a i beam axle and will mount the springs under the axle. im trying to have it finished this month. stay tuned!

Yeah I'm pretty sure its just about 3" lower in the front, and maybe 4-5" out back. The truck looks like it sits level. I wish I just had another couple inches up front to give it a bit of a rake, and then I'd be happy with the stance.
I never took exact measurements, just based it all on what I remember it looking like before (like how much lower the fender came to the edge of the wheel and stuff like that)
I lowered it because I just wanted to take the edge of that tippity-top farm truck stance.
