I put a 429 in a 67. I bought headers from Summitt or Jeggs for a 70's model with a 460. I would think they would work in a 66.

I bought headers for 66 with a 390, the same way. How much are looking to spend. You can get a set deliverd to your door for less then 150 dollars. More if you want better headers, cermic coated, etc.

If you want to build a set of headers I have a kit from L&L that has all the parts you would need. The set is for a 4x4 but if your building it you can make it do what you want.

I have a set of new Hedman headers that wont fit my '63 with a 460. Hedman part number 89140. The issue is with the Xmember that runs under the tranny bellhousing, about 3" behind the front of the trans. The right collector would exit right into the xmember, and I dont want to remove it or mod it. Driver side would contact it, they could almost be bolted on, but didn't push the issue. See how close your xmember is to where mine is. If it will work, I'll make you a smokin deal on them. Thanks
