Bump Side and Dent Side?
I am believing bump side to be made between 57 and 60. Is this correct? Expand...
Is dent side 67 to 72?
What is 73 to 79, 53-56 and 48-52?

Please don't flame me I have low self-esteem

68-72 = Bumpside
73-79 = Dentside
57-60 = Fridge
53-56 = Fat Fender (I could be wrong; this term definitely applies to the '56)

And I believe 48-52 = Bonus Built...

Jacob, these terms came to be because of the body lines on the truck. Now that you know the years , take alook at the different trucks and it will ALL make sense.
Of course, the term Slick originated with this sight and has become the universal term. I believe the term Fridge also came from this club but I could be wrong.

Actually, I was here, along with all the other old timers, when we named the different Ford body styles and all the designations for Ford trucks after 1956 came from this website.
Slick, Bump, Dent, et al.
We had no input for anything before '56, but after that we control the airwaves.
It all came from here.
