problems?

Post by ICEMAN6166 »

too bad.

me too.

i live out in the middle of nowhere, by choice of course.

whenever we have an issue there is but 1 option.

man up and deal with it.

running away solves nothing, complaining gets you nowhere.
the government is not going to help, stop wasting your time waiting.

i dont care for some of the stuff thats being said or done here, but i have invested lots of time and money over the years in helping others and building my own trucks.
99% of the time its been great.

so i am not going to be leaving the forum because of a few issues, that would be a cop out. like all other things i will deal with it.
like it= no
tolerate it = maybe, maybe not. depends on what it is.
run away upset= hell no.

i have a lot more respect for those who remain, regardless of their opinion, than those who would cut and run because of others opinions.

so for all those wanting to call me a narrow minded ford purist, fine. just dont call me one and run away.

I have not run away- I can take heat & deal with it. I am however a "rules" person& when a
member showed me the so-called "rule" about brand X engines not being tolerated on the club I applied
it to myself & gracefully bowed out. However with that said,I have been contacted by the Slick60s management
and been assured that it IS NOT a rule of this club. So I am still here.
If I offended anyone with a post or picture I am sorry.
I have not or ever will promote or encourage off brand engine installs, in fact on this site,
I have recommended staying with ford engines for resale value & nostalgic purposes.
I have joked with members at times to"put a rat in it" always with one of these  beside it. IT'S A JOKE!
Again, If I have offended anyone-it wasn't intentional- & I apologize.
I also have no intention of Taking over this site.I love the trucks and enjoy the friendship& craftsmanship displayed.
I am here to share in info. That's allI have to say,it's done, let's move forward.

This place would be boring as hell if we all agreed on everything. I will always stick around because it is not boring. Pick any 40 people in the world and you will have about 10 great people, about 20 average joes, and about 10 that are stark raving mad. I will learn to like all of them. Thanks, Lyman.

Count me in as well. I've had a great time on this site for the short amount of time I've been here and I plan on sticking around. When this site was recomended to me by Hoofbeatracer, I instantly liked what I saw and I don't think I've missed a night without checking up on what happened on the forums.
I'll continue checking up every night as usual!!!

Also, many thanks again to the moderaters that have to put up with this garbage from 1 or 2 troublemaking members!!!!

Is that kinda like that saying... 1 in 4 people are crazy, think of your 3 best friends...if they're ok, you're the crazy one.

I haven't even read what's going on. I don't have the attention span for it, so I really don't know... Other than there was some thread about a Bowtie in a Ford and some folks got their panties in a bunch...I guess? I dunno. All I know is I didn't click on the thread because it didn't interest me...don't agree with it, don't care for it, so I didn't look at it. Kinda like at a car show, if I see a Bowtie under the hood, I shake my head in sadness and walk away. How hard is that?

I mean, why is it such a big deal to disprove of someone else's choice on what they want to do with their truck?
