I just got back from down in the Valley of the Sun. While I was down there I stopped in to visit with Garbz. He is building one very nice Uni.
He is also a very lucky guy........Seems a neighbor told him about another neighbor who needed some help with an AC unit. Hes pretty old and recently lost his wife of 60 some years. Garbz being the compassionate Coal Cracker he is helps this guy out for free.
The old guy has a Son who in 1970 returned from an all expense paid tour of South East Asia ( The Nam ) and bought a new 70 Chevelle SS LS5 454 360 hp. A few months later the Drag Racing bug bites so the Son buys a factory LS6 454 450hp. motor and trans and puts it in the Chevelle and puts the other motor and trans in the corner. Ya see where this is going??? Fast forward 39 years and the old guy finds out Garbz is a motor head and asks if he has any interest in this old motor sitting in the corner of the garage. He wants it gone and if he wants it ,its his........sooooooooo
Garbz has this very low milage LS5 motor and trans and gets a big smile on his face and says "Uni.........meet LS5. Does'nt sound like it will sit on the floor of his garage for long.
After a beer and a bit to eat I started home and all the way home all I could think about is what a lucky guy. Why can't I find something like that.
I know.......its not a Ford , but wow , what a find!!!!!!!!!

If anyone can make that fit Garbz can. The 18 gallon tank will seem mighty small with that big block.

If it starts to rain, they'll tax the splash.
If you want to fish, they'll tax the bass.
If you plant a yard, they'll tax the grass.
If you don't play nice, they'll fine your *$#!

INEPTOCRACY: (in-ep'-toc-ra-cy) : a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.
