352 engine component colors

Post by tarps3 »

Can someone tell me where I can find the correct factory colors for my '66 352 engine?

I need to know the component colors like:
water pump
brackets
pulleys
3-speed manual tranny case
etc.

thanks,
Casey

I would like to see this information broken down into a chart we could all use, for 61-66 trucks. I want to make my trucks as original as possible and this information would really help!

A good example is this Tbird chart: http://www.tbirdranch.com/6163concours.html

I have an original 352 in my 66. Water pump has been replaced but I think the original was Ford Blue, same as the block. The brackets etc should be black. Can't tell about the trans, the grease buldup covers any evidence of ever being painted.

66 should be a Ford coprorate blue (the darker blue) engine with satin/kind of shiny black pulleys and brackets. The trans were never painted originally. Hawkrod
