what rim size would fit 225/75/15 tires on summit racing the sizes are 15x7 15x8 15x10 what do i get

with a 225 i wouldn't go any wider than a 7" wheel and that is probably too wide. the stock 5.5" wide wheels look pretty good wrapped in 225s.
this is opinion and not science.

A 5.5 is too narrow for a 225/75-15. The minimum width tire manufacturers recomend for that tire is 6 inches and the maximum is 8 inches. These widths are determined by the tires cross section. The extremes of a tires acceptable range should be avoided if you have the option and outside the range can cause tire failure and definitely causes premature wear. A 7 inch width would be the ideal and a 6.5-7.5 would be acceptable for good wear and performance. Hawkrod

The 225 x 60s I have on the front of mine are on 7" rims, just about perfect for them.

Pantech,
According to the BF Goodrich spec info for their 225/75R-15, Highway All Season, Long Trail T/A tires, their recommended rim width range should be 6.0" to 7.5" wide.
If you go beyond those recommendations, you risk voiding the new tire warranty and messing with the proper wear characteristics and load-carrying capacity.
