Here's my work truck and it's been called "Mater" a time or two. Great movie too.

Been no less than ten people already tell me the same thing. Guess I should have just let it go.

Talked with my sister today on the phone and she said that the neighbor kids have been calling it 'Mater" too and begging for rides. Guess the Ford/Chevy thing doesn't make a difference to the wee ones.

Hey Rich,
I did buy it and for now it's not for resale. I haven't decided exactly what I'm going to do with it yet. Being that it's built from several trucks I am trying my best to track the history of it and put together some kind of file or log. Everyone here has been real helpful on identifying some things. Still need to verify what motor is in it. I need to get busy on trying to rub the paint out some and see if ther's any shine left in it. Right now I'm spending time with my lady while she works in Baton Rouge so I'm not getting much done on either of the slicks. I need to quit this running back and forth between Nebr. and Louisiana. It's wearing me out. Too many plane rides. I think I'm going to forgo going on to Dallas with Donica and get settled in at home so I can get some things done. She'll be heading back to Nebr. for the holiday anyway.

'Mater' wasn't a Chevy??? Now I'm lost.
