The listing says the radiator is used as a condenser.
I think it's an interesting piece of automotive history. There was a lot of innovative ideas floating about at the time. I wouldn't describe it as beautiful but there's no way it's as ugly as the S-10 "fire truck". That thing made no sense. This clearly has a function, at least.
