The place to talk Slicks. All we ask is that discussion has something to do with slicks...

I like the grille they put in better than the one in the drawing.

I don't know a single soul who has that kind of money to throw at a project like that.
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..

im sure that truck was built on a unlimited budget. i just met a guy here in tempe that owns a muscle car restoration shop and show room. he is building a 100,000 dollar unibody. i saw the rendering and build pictures. it has everything from a roush motor to one off billet wheels. he said it wont be ready for the az goodguys show in november. but it will proubly be ready for another big event some time before the years end. this same guy had a yenko camero in his garage that he takes out on the weekends!

Think they did a helluva job on the entire truck, just never been a big fan of those kinds of paint jobs. But I'd love to see how they did paint it.

Most of it is just masking of course, the rest is somebody with an airbrush who is real good at it. Of all the "Street Rod" types of things the airbrushed trim is my favorite, that is pretty cool how the trim changes into the splash. The truck was a magazine feature some time ago - think I have it here somewhere. Very well done for sure.

I have seen this truck and it is awesome. Granted, it will not blend into the crowd. It very cutting edge and I think it raised the bar on how a Slick is built.
I am surprised no one has expressed a view of the fact that it is a hardtop, it has no frame around the window glass.

Saw that truck at the F100 Supernationals in 2006, it is a nice truck and has a few things done to it that I did not like, but overall is nice. Here are a few extra pics of it.

I think the paint job takes away from the Slicks body lines...other than that it's pretty awesome.
