292 yblock pully question

Post by Slick292-Y »

I am building a 292 yblock for my resto f100 project, and I'm looking to use a double pully instead of the stock single, so I can add AC. Does anyone know if I am going to run into any issues with this? I heard something about needing to compensate with a different flywheel for balaning purposes...

No balancing issues, just finding one that will fit might be a problem. If you find a pulley that fits but the bolt pattern is wrong just use the original pulley as a pattern and re-drill your new one.

Not cheap, but it'll be right!
