Bought another slick. That makes 6.

The place to talk Slicks. All we ask is that discussion has something to do with slicks...

Bought another slick. That makes 6.

Man those things are addictive. A buddy of mine called my Sat. morning about a 66 f350 on ebay. As luck would have it, I got the winning bid. I've only seen the pictured from the ebay add but it appears to have bucket seats. Did the f350's come with bucket seats? It has a 352 and manual tranny. Going this weekend to pick it up. Here are some pictures. I'll have to determine its future after i get it home.

$217.50. I talked to the owner and offered him $275 if he'd pull it off of Ebay but he wouldn't. I guess waiting and bidding paid off for me.

nice score!
cant ever have enough slicks.

i see the 352 on the bed, still has the mounting bracket on the front do not get rid of that and the timing cover as you can use those and the bell to put a FE in a 61-64 truck.

I'm a pac rat iceman. Never discard anything. Can you tell me if it is possible that the bucket seats are original? Did the 350's come with bucket seats?

From those pics the buckets do not appear to be original.

Well if the weather holds out I'm going to get her on Friday. Hopefully we won't be getting any snow. This is the south, its suppose to be minimal snow. Not 2 weekends in a row. lol

They were calling for some bad weather friday so I took off yesterday and got the ole girl. I have to say, she's in better shape than I actually expected. It was dark when I got back home but hopefully I'll get to do a detailed inspection of her this weekend. It was a long ride back. Those mountains can be rough on a truck when you're pulling another and a 20' trailer.
