My long neglected project...

Post by hungrymonkey »

Trying to figure out what to do with it.

I picked up this beauty about 4 years ago for $150. It had a 302/C4 that was poorly installed. I accidentally broke the fuel filter off of the 2bbl carb and had to upgrade to a 4bbl with performer rpm intake.

I know I want it lowered, I want it to handle better, and I would not mind going efi eventually.

I definetly need to replace the floor boards, possibly the cab mounts. The bed proximal to the cab has some rust issues.

Drive it like grandma stole it.

Never poke another mans rust bubble.

Looks like you have a good start there. Floorpans are fixable and the outer body seems to be in good shape. I say you are in the right area for your ideas. sounds like a good plan to me, keep us updated...

$150?!?!?!

WOW!

you got a deal my friend.... I thought I did okay when I got a 62 wrongbed, all smashed, rusted, and a pile of parts sitting on the frame, no engine for $150....

And I "parted it out" in the guy's yard and made him dispose of the frame and bed and random junk.
'63 with 390 & lots of juice. But never enough. Always want more.
