I ran into a few slicks I thought worth posting pictures of.
The SCTA was running a course of, I think, 1.2 miles. There was another mile to shut them down. So 2.2 miles overall.
The vehicles that couldn't get rolling from a standing start used a push truck to get them going fast enough to pull the tall gears!
The Yellow F100 was running a 258 cu. in. Y-Block. He was looking to post a speed of 120MPH. He told me they came up short on the first pass because the throttle wasn't adjusted right and it wasn't getting to wide open throttle. They were hoping for more on the second pass.
Now this is a Pretty SLICK Slick!

If your gonna race a F100 you gotta have a matching push truck too!

The last picture was like a time warp in the desert.... An F250 Camper Special. Check out the dust devil coming in from the left.
