I almost bought a set of those last week at a sale. $200 for all 4.
Anyway, I always liked raised white letters on a dark vehicle and blackwalls on light ones. Whitewalls never did much for me!
INEPTOCRACY: (in-ep'-toc-ra-cy) : a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

i really like firestone firehawk indy 500's. they have a good square tread pattern and work fine on the black top wet or dry.

Take a look in my gallery. That's the same wheels I have with white letter. Frankly I think it depends on the truck. If I had more money and did it over again, I would go with a thinner wheel/tire combo and go with white walls because my truck has so much white on it. If you have a solid one color truck, I lean toward blackwalls.

I have Comp T/A's on mine, no complaints. I also considered the Firestones mentioned above, they got good customer reviews on the Tire Rack web site (a good place to study up even if you don't buy there).

Its hard to beat white walls on these old school trucks, especially if they are any where near stock.
