nice and clean Dave and that's coming from Mr. Detail himself. looking at yours I kind of wish I'd of gone with the paint on the undercarriage also instead of undercoating.

No JC, its a Ford, I use Mercman as my handle because of my 1964 Mercury Monterey Convertible. Do Mercury trucks carry the F series badging? Thanks so much for all the praise, it means alot coming from you guys that have such cool rides............
It looks really nice. The only issue that I would have personally would be I wouldn't want to drive it if it were that clean. Do you plan to put many miles on it?
Very nice. Great detailing.
Which brings up the question for the group: Were these trucks originally painted the exterior color underneath?
Mine are all a "rusty" color .
Question for Mercman. Is the underhood red the same as the exterior? Looks like it's Ford Red (to match the engine color) in the pictures. Or is that just an "obstacle" illusion
If you understand what you’re doing, you’re not learning anything.

Grits, the hood is white topside and underneath. As far as the underside goes, when I scraped the undercoat off of the bed, it was painted white (on a red /white truck) When I scraped the undercoat off of the donor cab it was painted tan or brown on a white truck. I had to paint underneath so it was just as easy to make it red...........When the truck is done I'm going to Hershey, to the AACA meet to try an get its first awards....Dave
