The wifes 65 had the white instrument panel in it when we got it..The problem(at least for me) is the mismatched aftermarket gauges in it..They are different sizes and different colours..This is not an easy fix as the tach is the full size of the factory cutout and there is no matching gauge the same size for the other side except for a speedometer...No real need for two speedo's and we don't want to get rid of the factory unit....So I thought I would just pick one up at a swap meet and use two smaller gauges.....So I picked up a nice one yesterday..It was the only one I found at the swap meet..BUT it is not white..I kinda like the argent and chrome colours but the wife is not so thrilled with it.....So we would love to see some pics of trucks with different coloured instrument panels...Also I am assuming this thing is ALL chrome underneath the silver/argent coloured paint?..If so has anyone removed all of the paint and had a chrome IP?
Dude....you know I've always been a fan of the custom cab, but those shined up chrome clusters with the black face gauges are lookin really sharp.... hmmmm

I might be interested if you do.
only have 1 not being used but its from a 70s model and the lettering is different. will keep my eyes open for them on my salvage runs.

media blasted and "near chrome" powder coated. Got all my guages to fit just fine Picture is before it was fully installed and guages calibrated. Tach in center is awesome.

I always like the 61-62 style - chrome dash with the white ribbed area in the backround. 66 Custom Cab with the sweep speedo is pure 60s poetry for the eye.
Aftermarket I tend to be partial to Haneline's engine turned piece with the black surround - not cheap but pretty.
