My '66 Long box F100

Just thought I'd post it up since Im getting a chance to do some things to it now.

Here it basically looked when I picked it up, before these picture I parted out a 68 ranger and stole somethings off it for this one, factory bench, tailgate trim, bumpers, power steering, power brakes C6 and auto column.

Oh and I polished the paint, it didnt come this shiny altho it is in great shape (Arizona import just short of rust free!)







I was never a fan of these wheels and tires, looks to "truckish" to me Im more of a lowrider at heart and at the very most more of a kustom style guy.

So I picked up a set for Ford E150 steelies and hubcaps, blasted and then painted them red. Got a set of 205/70R15 Uniroyals (which lowered the truck a couple inches over the 235/75's that had been on the chrome wheels) Then to top em off stuck a set of Atlas portowalls on em. Heres the result of that.







Next is going to have to be a set of drop beams, sounds like the DJM's are the one to get.

Looking for a set of westcoast mirrors for a 66? The '68 I parted out had westcoasts but the brackets were facing differently then the holes already in my doors. So I assume theres an older and newer version of them, anyone know. I'd like chrome/stainless mirrors and supports.

Planning on leaving the mounting points on the doors to fill the holes and then bolt the rest on when Im towing, kinda like and old skool set of trailer mirrors.

I love your truck the paint looks good, I like the red and white combination. Also the wheels it compliments to the whole truck with Ford parts.
