Seat Replacement

Post by usaltydogu »

Hi Guys,

I'm looking at a seat that is in really good condition at a local junk yard that is in a 2002 Silverado. It has the seat belts integrated right into the seat. Anyone have any experience or advice for me on swaping out the old bench seat in my 64 f100 with the 2002 Silverado seat?

Thanks!

About the only advice I'd have is to measure the width, both the seat cushion width and the frame underneath to make sure they will fit without causing problems. And I'd make sure the back will be comfortable on the recline because it more than likely won't be able to recline as much as it would in the current GM truck. If you go for it let us know how it works out.
