I love original owner vehicles. They always seem to have a variety of funny & odd things about them, like this eGouge example for instance.
Check out the headliner in this one, that had to take some time.

Well.... true..... Not a restoration.

The old guy that was the original owner happend to drive by a paint shop that just happened to spray paint ALL OVER his truck.

And then he hit Home Depot for some cheap vinyl panelling (or maybe he just picked it up at the dump). Californians like to recycle you know!!!!

(That was a jamb on the truck and not Californians in general)

Would never touch that one.....

Id say for $12k you would expect to not have a who knows what door handle, a zip tied horn ring, cheapo late model bumper and so on! Maybe a nice daily driver in the $2500 range if its rust free, hard to tell under all that stuco, i mean paint! Oh the ford oval on the 67 style tailgate is soooo nice!

Guess the coil got up and migrated to the firewall by itself too.
for 12 bills. one would expect near concours perfect from a slick, especially a 3/4 ton. We may have the new green ebay truck someone commented on, here, cause this is an EZ one to pick holes in at that price.

Love the genuine imitation vinyl steering wheel wrap, and the $1.98 beauty show redo of the seats.
The leaky carb only adds to the elegance of this wrong-mirrored truck. The "Pop-out" rear window is a rare option indeed, and looks deceptively like a stock window.
Camper special fender badges were cleverly replaced with the ever-so rare Holman-Moody/Shelby "Ford" script variety.
And because you are in California, ricer exhaust off a Lexus is a requirement.
You'll feel right at home, just like in your basement suite with the simulated fake wood paneling headliner.
And nothing says original like a bumpside horn ring, zip-tied on.
Painted dashes are so much cleaner than those cheesy chrome original ones, too.

I do like the Ford oval on the tailgate tho. That, and the $0.50 US flag (made in China) hanging off the plywood sunvisor must add at least $10,000 to the value.

JC I'm surprised at you.

You missed the patented flex o matic aux battery hold down clamp & the transparent battery cable.

I believe that's a air horn pump instead of a coil on the firewall. Wonder if it plays Dixie

Really though I have no room to talk. At one time I cut a rambler down into a truck.
But then again I didn't list it on ickbay for 12 grand

The "passenger assist" handle above the door is definitely Grand Marquis or Crown Vic. Luxurious!

I can't understand, all this. The truck has luxurious appointments. Exotic wood paneled ceiling, Correct aftermarket hand pulls, and custom door trim, with pulls only found in the most expensive vans in the local pic and pull yard. The steering wheel has been upgraded from the same pic and pull yard. I give it an A plus on being above and beyond when it comes to pricing. Originality abounds on this priceless stock original, customized truck. Next Slickstock will be filled with copycats. I Will most likely install those type door pulls all over the outside of my truck, and one or two, on the hood, and tailgate, of which I will most certainly not want to copy, and will go with a 79. I don't want anyone to think I stole his ideas.

Whats wrong with the 67 tailgate? I got one on mine. I bet I still have him beat on the amount of wood used in a slick.

Actually, nothings wrong with the 67 tailgate, except that he wants the buyer to believe that this was some grandpa truck that is orignal and authentic, when it clearly is a thrown together amalgam of parts.

-wrong radio $50 plus $500 at the body shop to fill the gouged -out hole
-wrong door handles $150
-wrong horn $40

-wrong exhaust $800
-wrong wheels $500
-wrong hubcaps $180
-wrong battery paraphanelia $25
-wrong sunvisors $100
-wrong fender badges $20
=4520
so for $14520, and about 6 months of your free labour you could have a dang near perfect truck with just 115 thousand miles on it.

and we all know, 42 year old 3/4 tons are worth at least that, on the open market..
