Windsheild wiper motor question

Post by DanH »

Years ago I bought the aftermarket 2 speed wiper kit from DC. In the redo of my 66, I managed to forget how the wires from the wiper motor connect to the switch. Called tech support at DC to ask for the diagram because it's just 4 wires with female ends (no plug). They gave me the order, but the wires on the new motor are not the same color as mine. The new motor has red, white, green and gray. My old motor has yellow, black, blue and red. Any ideas? This may not even be a wiring problem, but I can't get the motor to park the wipers. They just stop when you turn off the switch. Is that a wiring problem or something internal to the motor?

The switch needs to be grounded.Had the same issue when rewiring mine.
