Welcome to the site and group.

Always love new members.

I don't know diddle about suicide doors. The 351w should be a fine powerplant, unless you want to race or do really crazy stuff. A built C4 will get you even more of the ponies from the 351, FYI.

WRITING IN ALL CAPS is usually harder for other readers to read. Considered shouting in some circles. Might be useful to know. If you are like most folks that type all caps, you are someone who works with a computer terminal all day where it doesn't matter or requires iti even. Just FYI....

later....
1965 F-100 240 Autolite 1101, Disk brake dual master upgraded, swapped over to C4 and powersteering. Bought by my Dad new in March 65'

Planned/considered upgrades:
Perhaps power brakes, 300 I6 motor and JUST maybe, AC!

Welcome to the group,

I really like 351W too, I have and have had lots of them. Your best Windsor will be the 69-70. BTW there wasn't a 68 Windsor.
I agree with CDHerman about the C4 trans.

Have you looked into the adaptors to run a small block in your truck,
you will either need to find them or fabricate them.

I have never done the suicide doors, But they may have kits avaliable to do them.

Windsor engine= fine choice. The last umpteen vehicles i have bought have had them. Closest thing Ford has built that would compare in parts availability to a SBC.
...and that's the only good thing I will be saying about a SBC.

It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..

CD said it best.
Suicide doors, a tough task for an experienced craftsman and fabricator.
Good luck.

Welcome and its good to see more short uni's. 351W is my choice, and another saying around here is :

:welcome:, This posting is useless without pictures. (Sorry about the lack of smiley's)

I must say I haven't thought about suicide doors, but there is always a first time. Did someone not put suicide doors on a crewcab modification around here?
(Guess I should have checked the link first, Sorry)
