Best place to sell your Slick?

Post by 65guy »

So I have my truck up for sale in the "Trucks for Sale" forum, and would be really happy for a club member to purchase, but I realize most here HAVE at least one and if are looking for anotHer are most likely NOT looking for a finished Slick.

Just wondering where would be a good place to place an ad? Is hemming still a good route to go, (that's how I found my truck several years ago)

Thanks for the help

Ebay classified ad. I think they are free to sellers and you'll get tons of exposure. I also troll Collector Car Trader Online but it doesn't seem to have the popularity it did back when I bought my truck.

try
oldrides.com
that's where I sold the 64 and bought the 61 Uni

and my add on the 64 wasn't in for more than a day or two and it was gone and
they gave me my money back because it wasn't posted very long

E-bay isn't free to sellers, there is a charge.
BTW: I'd buy your truck in a heartbeat (sorry) if I had the funds. Even though it's not red and even though it's a short bed. Beautiful truck.

For an auction, yes, though the listing fee may not apply if you're a high rated seller or they are having a special.
For a classified ad, the last two cars I listed were no charge. May be due to my number of sales/seller rating, but I did not pay any fee to list them (and they did not sell via the ad, so never did get charged).
