Power brake help!!

Post by marcfridge »

I did a 4 wheel disk swap on my 62 effie. It is a Performance Online kit which uses a GM power booster. My brake pedal is hard as a rock and I have to fight to get the truck to stop. I added a vacuum canister, but it didn't help. I am running a 460 with Edelbrock performer carb, intake and cam with a C-6 auto. I assume its a vacuum issue, but I'm lost at this point. Any insight out there?

You need to verify the check valve is centered it may be blocking either the front or rear systems.
