My neighbor is restoring his 63 Uni and told me that there is an AM/FM radio that looks like a 63. Is this true? He mentioned 65 or 66

I was thinking about buying one of those FM converters they sell on EGAY. I used one on my 442 in High School and it worked fine.
Any reason it wouldn't for the F100s? Best I can remember is around 25 bux.

FM converters work fine with any automotive AM radio. They don't play in sterio though. They simply plug in series into the antenna and plug.

I like it a lot -- I also got a dual voice coil speaker in the correct size from Tayman (he did my conversion) It all mounted up fine, speaker that is.FarmTrk wrote:CD, how do you like your conversion? I have tqlkeed to Gray Tayman in Florida who does that conversion. I am torn betwen the conversion and a Secret Audio unit, which is cheaper than a conversion.
The radio of course looks BONE STOCK. You switch between AM, FM and AUX input by turing the radio on and off quickly. If you turn it off and the back in less than a few seconds, it will cycle to the next setting. It remembers your setting, so if you turn it off and then turn it back on in a few minutes/hours/days/weeks, it will not cycle.
I reallly am looking forward to the AUX inputs (RCA) -- I intend to put a tiny little jack in the glovebox and then I can do IPOD, SIRIUS, MP3 player etc.
Tayman gives some options -- 4 speaker out, 2 speakers etc. Whatever floats your boat. Only problem as I see it is that he is not cheap.........
