just curious what is used before the seam sealer is applied.thought about por 15.what works for yall.

My personal opinion is "weld em up & fill em".

I think when I do my bed I am going to try using a brush along with regulated compressed air to try to get the rust converter/prohibiter to penetrate deep into the seem. To the point it "bleeds" out the other side.

Pro-Seal (aircraft sealant) you can shape it nice with soapy water and its paintable ! I use the stuff on rotors that spin just under mach at the tip under 122 g's at 110% power, and I have used it to seal fuel cells. In other works you wont have to mess with it for a while. ha-ha
