finally got a matching bed!!!

i drug home a 60 f-250 2wd saturday and put the flareside bed on. has the spare tire carrier. i love it!! no more wrong bed!lol, but the 64 wide long bed is now on the 60 and looks great on the old girl.

I knew a guy in Laramie, Wyo that had mounts on both sides. He put chains on those tires and if he needed them , he'd jack the truck up and change both tires. Guess he figured it beat wrestling with chains in the snow or mud. He drove it all year like that.

the divot fenders are pretty rare especially on the longbeds.
looks good, i have a flareside bed without the divot fender and have thought about putting it on my 66 4x4 too.

yeah, i like the looks of the flareside . it just looks more vintage to me. kinda brings back the old fat fender look. the old wide long box looks great on the 60 too. if i can figure out how to post pics on the album , i will.

The flareside does look more like it belongs on the slicks. I guess I've just learned to like the "wrong" bed.

yeah, the wrongbed kinda grew on me too but then i found the flareside and the long wide matches my 60 perfect. nice truck by the way!
