Not the Mighty Mac but..

This is the bridge on my road that I cross on my way to work everyday. Built in 1898, is one lane and has a wooden 2 x 6 deck. The bridge was closed for a month last summer, some kids stole a car and lit it on fire on the bridge and burned a hole in the deck. It is kind of fun in the winter, the county will not send their plow trucks down there, I got stuck a few times down there.

JC, they had to put the curve in the bridge to cross the shipping lane at a 90 degree angle. At least thats what I read somewhere.

JC,I think the curve in the bridge has something to do with the strong tidal flow, and southerly winds . We always here about bridge jumpers, I thought it was so we could see them. haha.
