I was walking through a buddys wrecking yard yesterday and he suggested that I maybe use an IFS out of and aerostar van. Anybody know anyone that has done this swap before? Comments or suggestions?

Some people talk out of the wrong end! I cannot stand when someone calls someone an S.O.B. I always wondered how they knew my mother, those words are very offensive. And people wonder why they get a knuckle sandwich. You don't need to do business with an idiot like that anyway. You will find your da...

61 or 62 slick pics
When I bought the truck, the owner said it was a 61, the title says 62. I posted pics on profile, don't know how to post them on here yet. The doors have the chrome and custom cab on them, don't think the doors go to this truck, I hope I can remove the chrome pieces, I want the slick look, they open...

You obviously already have a problem there. It looks really good on paper all your COPY AND PASTED mumbo jumbo dow...

Do not buy the tool, you can do the job w/o it. Go to a plumbing supply store, take your new rear main seal, I don't remember the exact o/d. Buy a pvc cap that fits on the seal perfectly, install a plug on the threaded part, now you have a perfect inataller, you can whack the plug part with a medium...

These codes will be E.E.C. 5 codes. You have driven the car too long with check engine lite on. The codes you get will send you on a wild goose chase! You have to start with basics. Spark, fuel pressure, compression, exhaust backpressure. Once you clean the fuel fouled spark plugs and clear the memo...

Tom, is right on the money! Loosen the exhaust pipe flange at the exhaust manifolds, just enough to let the engine breath, you dont have to take the nuts all the way off, just about a 1/4 of an inch. Be careful when you crank it , you have alot of fuel built up, fire extinguisher handy. It should st...

Automatic choke works good, when set up right. If it is electric, connect your pwr. to the stator wire at alternator white and black wire. Set the choke plate about an 1/8 inch from being closed, the plate if you push the opposite direction should have a little tension. When cold and you push accele...

We are in west Texas,so the fire place gets cranked up every time the temp. falls below 50 degrees. My worst nightmare is a housefire, my family could sleep through a tornado. I myself am a nightowl. We really like a nice hot fire that will burn all nite before we go to bed. God bless the nightowls!...
