So its time to put a new carb on my truck 1964 f100, 292 y-block, with and old broke-down 2 barrel carburetor Now its time to put on a new carb. cant find one anywhere as of yet, i can get one from holley for around 250$. But if I'm gonna dish out that kind of cash, might as well upgrade. . . .Right...

^I'm not too good with electricity, but i beleive the higher amperage would cause problems with the electrics

Alright, so I finally got my slick up and running again. I work too damn much, anyway, the starter i got at O'Reily's didnt work, I got a rebuild kit, didnt work, so then i spent the 130$ and ordered one online through Advanced Auto Parts and put it in and she cranked right up. just an update, the bendix the parts store guys order was for the wrong type of starter. so after looking through some books with them we found the right one, bad news it cost about $60 i think the part number for the starter is ULT 03-0214 let me know if thats right or not, its the number on the si...

its actaully not broken, i pulled it apart to get a better look at it

now i cant get it back together, but i new bendix is only $15 so i went ahead and had the parts guy order me another one
