Headers?

Post by Louball »

I have a 351 that I am putting in my 66 and I can't seem to find headers that will fit. Do any of you guys have a 351 with headers in your truck? I have been told by Summit & Jeg's that I will have to have them custom made.

302 block huggers will work, but Sanderson headers in San Francisco makes headers specific for the 351W. I think the only diferrence is the length of the pipes to where the collector is. Check them out or call them.

I ran Mustang shorties on the 351W in the '72 Bumpside I had. Should work the same in a '66...they're pretty cheap price wise too.

I have a 1969 Bronco with 351W and JBA shortie headers that has proven a great setup. I am now installing a 351W with C-6 in a '65 F-100 short bed and want to use JBA #1653 mid length shorty headers. Has anyone had experience with these for fit? They are cataloged for '65-'73 Mustangs.
