At this point if I can rescue my truck from the body man friends yard.
Get it home weld up the Dakota suspension put all the new parts I have purchased already,In, bushings, sway bar ,tie rod ends, rack and pinion, body mount kit and get the steering
linkage system figured out and get it lowered in the back to match the front. NEW core support and get it back to driving for now will be a dream come true. The only thing worse than not having a slick is have it where you cant drive it.DANG I MISS MY SLICK!!!! I really wish I would have left well enough alone, and did a disc brake swap and a dual MC,and drove it like I stole it.
OH and totally off subject I also vow to quit letting my log book get two weeks behind LOL

1. to have the Slick wired and running and stopping by spring....
2. to have the mechanicals worked out within a month after running and braking...
3. have her in some sort of primer and interior completely done by June
4. New tires....
5. Be at slickstock in August..... just to prove that the clock really doesn't matter....

Plan is to get remainder of parts to start and complete mods to my 62/63 Uni. I want/need to do it all at once.
Including: Take front clip off, remove engine so I can paint it, front frame and the engine bay, add Rams Horn headers, install Mustang T-5 tranny with S10 tailshaft, Have front spring eyes reversed, Paint interior RED, Install tan (Palomino) Mustang buckets, Falcon console, tank cover.
All before Pate at the end of April. Think I'll make it? Probably not, but it's worth a shot.

If you understand what you’re doing, you’re not learning anything.

My 63 Unibody
I have the frame painted, underside of truck painted and undercoated, body back on frame, motor and trans sitting in frame. Now on to running wiring, brake lines, brake work, setting up column and master cylinder, reinstalling dash. Dreaming of being able to drive it in the spring. If I can just work hard enough to accomplish that.
Thanks for all the good info I get from slick60's.

I just want to get the F100 running with the 351, put in a dual M/C, and simply enjoy it. My F250 project is taking so long, and I need a slick to drive soon!
I'd love to drive it to Slickstock, but my kids and I start school at that time. I don't think I'll have time to do Bonneville 2010 (I committed my help to my friend making a run at a record) do that, tow home, turn back toward Utah again and make it to Iowa.
