What carb came on the 352 in 1966...

Post by killercoating »

Or maybe the question should be where did my C3AF-AU carb come from because everything I found says the C6AF-L, C6PF-H, and C5AA-A were the carb for the 352 that year.

Also where can I find specs on this carb, I think it is a 4100 series carb but want to be sure of the cfm and what not before I hunt down a rebuild kit to place it on the 302.

C3AF-AU= 1961-63 Galaxie, 390 engine with auto transmission. This carb ought to work ok on the 352. Get a good Motorcraft carb kit, rebuild the carb yourself. the kit has everything you need with specs. but doesnt have the secondary diaphram so be carefull with yours. hope this helps

a 1966 Ford truck with a 352 should have a C6TF-9510-C with an automatic and no thermactor (early ones might have a C5TF-9510-Z), a stick no thermactor should be C6TF-9510-T, automatic with thermactor is a C6TF-9510-S, stick with thermactor is a C6TF-9510-R. The other numbers you have are all car numbers and are not correct for a truck. Hawkrod
