Welcome aboard and I am not very far from you. I live in the Silver Valley about 70 miles or so east of you. I do restorations in my retirement and am more than happy to assist you in any way I can. I have a few left over parts from the 61 UNI we did a couple of years ago. I can help you find parts too.
Again welcome aboard

I am thinking about bringing my un molested 62 uni to the Car dlane. It doesn't look anything like the one in my signature but it drives pretty good.
We are having a car show here in Pinehurst this August hope you come to it or maybe you have been already.
I need a contact for the Green Diamond media for my blast cabinet if you could let me know I would be thankful.
Call me if you can or email. I get to Spokane pretty often we will have to meet. I like unibodyboy's idea of starting a chapter. Could be a lot of fun.

Welcome to Slick 60s. You have found a home to share your restoration with and a site that you should have no trouble making some great friends. There is a Fort Knox of knowledge here about these beautiful trucks and plenty of jokesters that will help keep the restoration fun. Look forward to passing on what I can although after seeing the Boss, I wouldn't mind a few pointers myself. We are all picture junkies so don't worry about posting too many pics. The 427 sounds like a great idea, that should score well amongst the purists here. Nice to have another member from the NW. Good luck
Mark

anyway he is referring to the way he took a ranger console and made it work with his hurst shifter, to look like stock.

It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..
Fender stand...I'd like to see that pic.BackyardResto wrote:
Next week it should really turn serious as this first week was spent tearing it apart then making the carts to hold cab & bed along with a fender stand.
Welcome aboard! By the looks of your shop, I was guessing you did restorations for a living, but maybe not? Man, would I kill for that shop.
Looking forward to any & all progress pics you want to lay on us. Good looking little project truck, too.
