Started mine too last weekend. May shave the drip rail too. I did think about a chop for abit back when I first got the truck, I'd have done it if it were a Short.
Anyway, yours looks just great!

I have a pair of 4 1/2 in round driving lamps here a buddy brought me from the junkyard he works at. I don't know what they are off of though. I can try to find out if you like.
I like it - was sort of thinking the same thing but couldn't decide where to french them into the bumper though. First I have to get the bumper cut down & welded back together for a tighter look on the ends.
BTW - like your location for the driving lights.

Liking it!
I tell you what though bro, I'd be finding a regular slick door at the junkyard and cutting a patch for that right side out of it rather than all the stitch welding & filling you have to do with all those separate pieces. Don't get me wrong I am sure it will look fine when you are done - maybe I am just lazy, lol. I have 2 scrap doors here I saved just to cut patches from.

well ive been a welding and grinding freak today got a lot done though so im pretty happy tomorrow going to fix a buddies cab corners and glass the roof to get it ready for primer so well see how much i can get done on my days off at least im hoping for primer by the weekend.
only thing left n this pick is to move the window section over to match up and its finished up so tomorrow it will look like the other side.
and lastly the full rear shot with the center section almost finished up just have to weld the filler piece that i made to go in tomorrow with every thing else.

yea my buddy mounted a set of used tires from his work and did that to me as a joke since i didnt care if they were balanced oor not just as long as they rolled was enough for me

thanks for all the positive feedback im hoping this truck turns out the way i want the first time so its not like my last that spend more time being torn apart than me driving it

twistedfreak,
Don't forget to fix the cowl by the door where it meets the A pillar. I cut mine and filled it to match the door. Look at the pic in your last post looking towards the front and you will see the cowl has a different radius than the door. You have went this far so what is a little more time. It's the little things that make a difference.
