finally started swapping roofs

no the replacement roof is from a 64 thats why i got the window/ b pillar prob and ive gotta go atleast thru the window just above my window is where all my problems are it was rusted out and i didnt know how to weld plus using flux core i distorted it pretty bad

i looked at it today looks like ill have to cut em both there where they sit down on the back of the cab and weld all the way across the back looks like alot of fun

i bet a long bed sitting that low would look good shouldnt be too hard to stretch just cut it somewhere bout where the bed starts get your rear wheels and front wheels centered in the wheel wells and buy some thick square tubing

just going to give an update i hadnt forgot those box pics progress has been a little slow having to change out my roof and im starting on that saturday then im going to fix where i notched the floor for the frame and start working my way toward the back of the truck

wrongbeds were factory but are dead ugly even on the trucks they were actually built to go on

i think on a 66 you prolly wouldnt need to clearance it although the cab brace might give you a problem

yea there all drum brake and speed density but if you want rear discs go grab a set off of a explorer or ranger any 8.8 with rear discs
