I get about 16 mpg on avg commuting about 63 a day and the 70 a week to fill up my ext Trailblazer (25 gallon) is know about 98 a week. I still remember when my dad was advising me on my first brand new off the lot purchase, and milage came up. "you'll get 300 miles to a tank" no matter wh...

Selling the truck on ebay, to rescue a cherry unibody !

If no one buys it fine , I'll take it as a sign from god to keep working. If it sells I'm buying the unibody I found that I wanted to cut the bedsides off of. This is no doubt easier than cutting the frame and grafting bedsides, and I'll just call the black 64 practice. For "The Unibody" I...

Argentina F-100 propaganda film with Slick Panel trucks?

At first I thought It was a country squire wagon, 0.31 sec in, then I started the clip over and theres a panel at 0.21 sec? I though 60 was the last year for that. I really dig the one at 0:31 / 2:17, maybe its the front fender? but it looks like a slick dont it, more slick less falcon wagon ? and w...

Share some wisdom, tackle the bed or front end next?

Before I dive into the front end project which will be expensive and time consuming, should I finish the back with a bed? Would you guys wrap up that section first . DO YOU stick with a plan? Back...then cab........then front......and so on. Heres what I got so far, it just needs a bed to finish the...

Greg I took my "Huey helicopter" sheet-metal buddy with me to the junkyard, After looking at both beds we agreed on a regular longbed box with the tail lights, rear quarter and wheel well cut out and splice to the long bed. So it would be an "Argentina-long-unibed"..................

hey cool find, what kind of bed do you think that is ? 70's ? the pic on the right as a side marker light at the rear , and the bed curves out a little towards the top where the cab meets, but the paint job splits the body line pretty good. I dig it , its different

Wheres the best angle/place to cut unibody bedsides off ?

I been looking for truck beds and came across a clean 62 unibody in a junkyard , the cab is good on mine and I only want the bedsides , I dont need the floor or wheel wells (due to the step notch and bags). Where should I cut below the back window? in front of the door jamb? He has to long beds that...

Pro-Seal (aircraft sealant) you can shape it nice with soapy water and its paintable ! I use the stuff on rotors that spin just under mach at the tip under 122 g's at 110% power, and I have used it to seal fuel cells. In other works you wont have to mess with it for a while. ha-ha I think you can ge...
