When you get your grill (or any other aluminum for that matter) polished to the point where you are happy I suggest using Zoopseal to make it last. I used it on some aluminum valve covers and it was easy to use and is advertised to last 2 years. Kind of pricey but it's better than polishing all the ...

Cash for clunkers on the verge of reality
Hot off the presses today. Unreal. Let's use our tax money to basically buy someones car so they can take the money out and buy a new one. Never mind they may be driving the "clunker" because they can't afford new car payments in the first place. Oh, maybe Oprah will give them money. Of my...

You could buy a Pertronix or Performance Distributors Davis Unified Ignition (DUI) which are both electronic igmitions and repalce the points type ignition. From all accounts both work great. I use the Performance Distributors unit but I have heard that the Pertronix units are great as well. Install...

I have a Performnce Distributors Davis Unified Ignition (DUI) system on my 302 and it works great AND requires no external coil. Very simple to hook install and there's not a bunch of wires running everywhere. In fact there's only one wire that needs to be run to it.....the hot wire. But......it's $...

64 Slickster How close to the floor did you mount the seats? I used the stock GM power seat rails that came with the seats and did not measure while they were in. Is there any room to gain there, perhaps? Lowering the seats may actually force you to use the seat in an even more upright position. I'm...

www.fordfuelinjection.com has all the info you need to gather the correct parts for the conversion AND they carry harnesses and other parts that you may need or may not want to fab on your own. The 5.0 EFI harness for our trucks is $475....not cheap but with all the factors involved it may be a barg...

I bought an adjustable kingpin reamer off ebay for $40 and did it myself. Just have a strong bench and vise to hold the spindle while you grunt away at it...work your way op slowly. If doen right the kingpin will have some resistance while being inserted into the bushing but you should not have to h...

Speaking from experience....make sure that your front calipers are on the correct sides of the vehicle. I made this mistake and went through a ton of braje fluid only to realize that the calipers were on the worng sides. They looked right, lookied like the bleeders were on the high side but they wer...

I have an AOD that I took out of my 66 F-100 since I wanted to switch over to a 5 speed manual....matter of preference. Anyway it was fullly functional when I took it out spring 2007 and its been sitting in my garage since. I have the AOD 2000 RPm stall speed torque convertor, separator plate, dipst...

Dash Panel
Haneline uses an ABS plastic outer piece with an engine turned inner panel...very nice and a decent price for waht you get. Most other companies only sell the insert which is basically something you could make in your garage.

Another inner fender radiator support question 66
I have a 66 F100 2wd and have a line on inner fenders and rad support. The seller says they are from a 65 F250 2wd the pics look very similar, minus rust holes, to mine. Angular inner fenders not round, and the rad support are from the same truck. I believe that the 65 and 66 are the same except for...

Ignition Switch Disassembly
There is a very small hole as you look at the front of the switch. Insert a straightened out paperclip in the hole and the assembly should slide out. You may have to turn the key slightly to do this.
